ALMO FC was founded by Hugo Aleixo and Dorival “SP” Sporrohn — two coaches from opposite sides of the world, united by one vision: to bring a new, creative, and inspiring way of coaching to New York City.

Hugo, from Brazil, and SP, from Angola, both grew up in cultures where soccer is more than a game — it’s a way of life. After years of coaching, playing, and building programs across New York, they decided to combine their experience, passion, and philosophy to create ALMO FC: a project designed to offer players a unique training experience built on discipline, joy, and innovation.

At ALMO FC, every session has purpose. We don’t just teach players to play — we teach them to think, to create, and to express who they are through the game. Our goal is to give every player the opportunity to grow in a professional environment, powered by technology, modern methodology, and a deep love for the sport.
